The first picture that a child learns to paint on the canvas is mountains with swiftly flowing rivers , clean air and a perfect house in the lap of mother nature. Little does the child realize that what he has painted is nothing but the 5 elements of nature - Prithvi (earth), jal (water), aagni (fire) ,vaayu (air) and aakash (space) because of which there is life on the earth which we term it as " Natural Infrastructure".

Any imbalance in the interplay of these forces can result in chaos. An invisible equation operates between the elements outside, the elements within the individual and his living place. This is what vastu and Fang sui says that there should be a balance between environment and man in a space so as to absorb maximum benefits of the 5 elements.

In the evolution of mankind , the term 'shelter' has changed right form trees to caves, caves to huts , huts to houses and to multi- storied buldings. I strongly believe that all this was possible because of the way they were able to balance the 5 elements of nature.
